*Collectors' Banknotes 2006*

To purchase this book, please see the Stockists link above, or email info@rotographic.com for details.

With listings by date, signature and serial number of all known varieties. Printed since 1985 it really is the only A5 paperback on English Banknotes in its price range. The book also offers an easy to follow penalty point grading system to aid the grading of bank notes, as well as useful information, including how to tell a fake Nazi banknote from a real one! (During WWII the Nazi's issued very authentic fake British banknotes in an attempt to ruin the British economy)

British 5 pound note 1957

Late 1950's £5 note, as listed on page 55 of Collectors' Banknotes 2006.

Here are some of the improvements in this 2008 edition:

  • The image quality in the book has been greatly improved.
  • Full colour throughout.
  • All images will have captions stating exactly what they are.
  • The font has been changed throughout the book due to popular request.
  • The setting up of this website with databases that can be added to over the year, will ensure the prices are more accurate.

As well as the new features, a few of the old favourites have remained consistent; like the value for money, the thoroughness of the listings and the convenient size.
